Induction Hobs - Medium & Heavy-Duty Induction Hobs
Control Induction hobs are designed with power and efficiency in mind, only using power when a pan is placed on the vitro-ceramic glass surface, with over 95% of the power used generating heat in the pan itself, rather than the hob surface, this is the most efficient pan cooking technology available.
Medium-duty hobs (with a typical duty of 5,000 - 10,000 hours) and Heavy-duty (with a typical duty of 40,000 - 50,000 hours), are two options available within our induction range.
Our medium-duty induction hobs are 3kW and available to run off a 230V or 415V supply. They can be controlled by power or temperature with some models including a timer function.
Heavy-duty hobs are available in multiple power outputs with 3.5kW (can run off a 230V or 415V supply) and 5kW (runs off 415V supply only) being the most popular outputs for our customers. Additionally, heavy-duty hobs have a much longer life (10+ years), very delicate/accurate power control and better functionality.
These are two of our most popular sizes, but we have an extensive range of sizes available, giving us the ability to offer a wide range of configurations within our induction stoves to suit all kitchens.
BENEFITS OF INDUCTION COOKING
FASTER. Because energy is directly transferred within the pan metal, cooking on an electric induction range is extremely fast - even faster than gas.
SAFER. There is no open flame, red-hot coil or other radiant heat source to ignite fumes or flammable materials.
CLEANER. With no grates or grease catch to worry about, clean-up is much easier.
COOLER. With an electric induction range, almost no ambient heat is produced, since all the heat is being generated in the pan itself, meaning that the ventilation and refrigeration etc., won’t need to work so hard.
CHEAPER. When using an induction cooktop, with over 95% of every pound you spend on energy goes right where you want it - in the pan!
