FEATURES OF OUR SALAMANDERS
Rapid heat-up time, reaching 80% of max power in 8 seconds and max power in only 20 seconds which improves cooking on demand (this also reduces power consumption by up to 70%). The grill doesn’t need to be left on when not in use, reducing heat within the kitchen.
The CI-SAL2/3 has rotary controls. Both the CI-SAL01 & CI-SAL02 have touchscreen controls. All models have pre-programmable grilling times and an audible electronic timer.
Both the CI-SAL01 & the CI-SAL02 are fitted with plate detection bars (these switch the heating elements on and off when loaded and unloaded). These models also have cook and hold abilities.
All of our salamanders are height adjustable, meaning the grilling elements can be lowered to just 25mm above the product, and are fitted with removable grill trays and glass heating shields which are easy to remove from the product and clean.
The salamanders are fitted with high-powered heating elements, with a choice of element selections (all on or individual elements on, excluding the CI-SAL2/3).
Cook & Hold Feature on CI-SAL01 & CI-SAL02
The middle heating elements in the centre of our CI-SAL01 and CI-SAL02 pulse at full power to stop items in the centre of the grill from receiving more heat than items cooking/holding at the sides.
The CI-SAL01 has a total of 3 heating elements and the CI-SAL02 has a total of 4 heating elements as shown in the images.
