Island cooking suites are designed to enhance communication and workflow in the kitchen. By allowing chefs to face each other while maintaining a clear line of sight to the pass, these suites reduce the need for verbal exchanges, ensuring the entire brigade stays coordinated and aware of activity at the pass.

Here are some examples of Island suites we've designed and built.

Simpsons_island_unit.jpgIn March 2017, our Birmingham distributor, Bournville Catering Equipment, nominated us to supply the kitchen equipment for the new cookery school at Simpsons Restaurant, a Michelin-starred establishment widely regarded as Birmingham’s finest. The project required a high-performance induction suite, including a central island unit, that not only delivered exceptional cooking capabilities but also met the restaurant’s high standards for aesthetics and value. Induction_cooking_Island_suite_at_South_Lodge_Hotel.jpegOur induction suites can be fully customised with a wide range of sizes and power configurations to suit any culinary environment. This particular suite was installed at the prestigious South Lodge Hotel, part of the Exclusive Collection group. It features four induction solid tops - Sliders®, a combination of single and double French Planchas, fryers, and back-to-back salamanders - delivering both versatility and performance in a high-end kitchen setting.
