The Black Swan, Oldstead - MICHELIN 1* & Green*

This wall suite was installed in March 2017 for one of our longest-standing customers MICHELIN 1 star & 1 Green star rated The Black Swan in Oldstead, having already purchased a free-standing plancha and six-ring induction cooker from us. It contains:

• 2 x 10kW Slider® induction solid-tops, where the whole zone is active with all but the perimeter being cookable on
• 2 x 3kW Medium-duty induction hobs 
• 1 x Single French Plancha

Tommy Banks senior initially contacted us intending to reduce energy costs and the heat in the kitchen. Tommy's head chef Adam Jackson who was a big fan of gas, was initially keener to stick with the gas rather than rely on induction cooking which he had little experience of. Once the induction suite was installed Adam was soon singing its praises. The suite had to be installed in two pieces to allow access through a narrow doorway.
